Sadly Mo died in June 2004 after struggling for two years with various illnesses, finally bowel cancer. More than 100 people atteded her funeral and wake.
The following stanza from the Rubaiyat of Omar Khyam was read at the service, I think it says a lot of how I feel..
"Here with loaf of bread beneath the bough
A flask of wine, a book of verse - and thou
Beside me singing in the wilderness
And wilderness is paradise now."
We were married nearly 31 years and had lived together for 7 before.
